Why the Chase Ink Business Preferred is my next new card

I'm currently working towards my goal of saving 380,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points for a trip to the Maldives, and opening the Chase Ink Business Preferred will help me come closer to achieving my goal.

As of publication, the Chase Ink Business Preferred is offering a sign-up bonus of 100,000 Chase points after spending $8,000 in the first 3 months after opening the card. This is a special offer, as previously, the spending requirement was $15,000 in the same 3-month timeframe.

Since Chase lowered the spending requirement to $8,000, this card has been on my radar. With an annual fee of $95, this card is a no-brainer for me since I should be able to hit the $8,000 spending requirement.

This card is great for small business owners, as you can earn 3x points per dollar on the first $150,000 spent on these categories: shipping purchases; internet, cable, and phone services; certain advertising purchases; and travel. Lyft rides will earn 5x points per dollar, and other purchases earn 1x points per dollar.

The 100,000-point sign-up bonus can be redeemed for $1,000 of cash back, or you can redeem those points for $1,250 of travel through the Chase travel portal. However, if you have a Chase Sapphire Preferred or Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you can combine your points, which will give you access to the Chase transfer partners.
